Secrets to Making Your Diet Work
Most diets are ‘gimmicky’ and don’t really address the cause of the weight gain. Usually, diets involve counting calories or eating only one type of food, and basically, not eating the way our bodies were designed to eat.
The missing element in most diets is education. I know, that if you understand why are bodies need certain types of food, and you understand the cause of weight gain, then losing weight will be much easier.
I have found that most of my patients do not have problems with will power, in fact, in the past I’ve been surprised by the incredible will power exhibited by my patients. They’ve taught me that losing weight is NOT a problem with will power, but rather with education. When you understand how fat is burned and how fat is stored you are more likely to follow a plan that will help you achieve health and normalize your weight.
By understanding how hormones control metabolism you can have them work for you instead of against you.
